Methodology

Definitions for normalized and derived statistics.

PF+
100 × team points per game ÷ league-average points per game. A PF+ of 120 is 20% above that season's average.
x-Wins & Luck
x-Wins estimates wins from weekly all-play results. Luck is actual wins minus x-Wins; positive values indicate a favorable schedule and negative values indicate an unfavorable one.
Pythagorean Wins
An estimated win total from points for and against: games × PF2.37 ÷ (PF2.37 + PA2.37).
Lineup Efficiency
Starter points divided by the best legal lineup available from that week's roster. Available from 2018 onward.
Z-Score
Standard deviations above or below that week's league-average score. Z-scores are comparable across scoring eras.
